Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PetBooked, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. These terms apply to both pet owners and veterinary clinic accounts.

2. Platform Role

PetBooked is a technology platform that connects pet owners with licensed veterinary clinics in Egypt. We do not provide veterinary services directly. Each clinic listed on PetBooked is an independent service provider fully responsible for the quality, accuracy, and delivery of their services. PetBooked is not liable for any veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided by clinics.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Each person may maintain only one account per role (owner or clinic).
• Clinic accounts must belong to a licensed veterinary professional or authorized clinic representative.

4. Booking & Appointments

• Appointment bookings are requests and are subject to clinic confirmation.
• Service prices displayed are set by individual clinics and may change without notice.
• Clinics may subscribe to a featured placement plan to appear prominently in search results. Pet owners are never charged any fees by PetBooked.
• PetBooked is not responsible for any disputes regarding service quality between pet owners and clinics.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Pending appointments may be freely cancelled or rescheduled by the pet owner through the app.
• Confirmed appointments require direct coordination with the clinic for changes.
• Repeated no-shows without cancellation may result in account restrictions.
• Clinics may set their own cancellation policies which pet owners agree to upon booking.

6. Reviews & Ratings

• Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual appointments completed through PetBooked.
• Defamatory, false, or abusive reviews will be removed and may result in account suspension.
• Clinics may not incentivize or coerce pet owners to submit positive reviews.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Egyptian law.
• Impersonating another person, clinic, or entity.
• Attempting to bypass the platform to conduct transactions outside PetBooked after an initial introduction through the app.
• Uploading harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
• Interfering with or disrupting the platform's technical infrastructure.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software comprising PetBooked are the exclusive property of PetBooked and are protected under Egyptian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of the platform without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

PetBooked is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, veterinary services provided by clinics, appointment scheduling errors, or service interruptions. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the maximum extent permitted by applicable Egyptian law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from use of PetBooked shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of PetBooked after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
